KEYCOM provides a passive RTS with a very little frequency dependency in
delay time and less insertion loss than a metal waveguide.
Its distinguished features were made possible by applying a dielectric waveguide for
its delay line to put its transmission in TEM mode.
Available for 79GHZ, 76.5GHZ, and 24GHz.

Features

Because the delay line is dielectric,
*Transmission is in TEM mode, and it shows little frequency dependency in delay time.
*Insertion loss is smaller than a metal waveguide, and thus desired RCS can be obtained even with a low gain antenna.
Therefore, the antenna can be smaller than metal waveguide type, resulting in reduction of unnecessary reflection from the antenna.
*Very little unnecessary reflection from the delay line.
Also…
*Very few failures because of its solid body without moving parts.
*Suitable for assembly lines for millimeter radar-equipped automobiles because no operation is necessary.
